Good business writing is hard to notice. It just faithfully conveys its information, concept or feeling. The worst business writing is hard to notice, too. It's perfectly correct but completely ineffective. Web and graphic designers I meet invariably bemoan "good enough" writing that undermines the visual polish of their work, or "in house" copy that never gets out of the house - and holds up Web sites or even product launches. Likewise, project managers tell horror stories of gorgeous proposals that wound up blowing multimillion dollar contracts simply because the writing failed to communicate. I help prevent such problems. I prefer to become a virtual member of your team and participate from the first strategic brainstorm to the final edit; however, I can also serve designers in the background without creating a separate price quote.
